Real Wedding, Rachel + Rush

We are delighted to share these amazing photos of Rachel and Rush's wedding with you. The talented photographer, Jasmine Star provided these incredible shots...it is so fun to relive this weekend all over again!

The ceremony took place at Casa Rodena, a lovely winery in Albuquerque.

Rachel just adored the sensual palette of deep purples off set with crisp clean white.

Rachel's vision came to life with 24 karat gold dipped greenery wrapped around the chuppah, accented with strands of hand strung Dendrobium orchids.

Oh ya, did we mention Rachel loves gold!

No really... LOVES gold.

And so do we...a match made in heaven!

The reception was set at the beautiful Hotel Andaluz. To off set the navy linens from La Tavola, we did all white lush aysemmetrical designs of Hydrangea, Polo roses, Lisianthus, Dahilas, Iris, Dendrobium orchids and gold dipped Jasmine vines in beautiful gold mercury glass vessels.

The Bride & Groom's table was so lovely - linens embroidered with organza rosettes. Stunning!

18 feet of hand strung, double strands of Dendrobium orchids ombre style from white to deep purple created this magical "Curtain". Glorious!

The bride and groom were welcomed into the cocktail reception with a burst of gold confetti!

We didn't want to leave the chandeliers out of all this fun!

In the case of this arrangement, we've focused on the edible with sprigs of wheat, ornamental Kale, Artichokes, and Lavender herbs. Blue Sea Holly thistle and seeded Eucalyptus lighten the palette with silvery hues and the richness is created with burgundy Dahlias, Safari Sunset and Diablo Ninebark.

One of the weddings this weekend had such a lovely and unique color palette we couldn't resist sharing a few snapshots with you!

How cute are these little darlings! There were seven of them total!

The bride requested a faded/vintage feel with deep burgundies and antique pinks and lavenders. Oooie! We sure were happy with the way it turned out.

We loved these gate arrangements, a perfect way to welcome guests into the ceremony site!

We used Red Charm Peonies, Amnesia, Sahara, Quicksilver and Polo Roses, Sweet Peas, Lisianthus, Seeded Eucalyptus and Ninebark (Our new fave!)

"Hours of Creative Fun"

We had a blast creating these elegant and lush centerpieces for a 40th birthday party. We used Hydrangeas, Polo Roses, the most beautiful white Anemones with black centers, fragrant Freesia, and Dendrobium Orchids. Yummmy!

But, the most fun part was making the centerpieces for the kiddos! We created sophisticated arrangements of Hydrangeas, Freesia, Roses and Crespedia but stuck in a few plastic critters. The package of dinosaurs wasn't lying when it said, "Hours of Creative Fun!" These Dino-Terrariums has us all giggling like 5 year olds!

We had quite the MLK weekend filled with big events all over town! We were designing our little buns off, in the studio, on site, on tables, up ladders, swinging from chandeliers...and that was just one wedding!

We couldn't resist sharing one sneak peek of the most adorable boutonnieres. These Rannunculus beauties were absolute perfection in their varying spring shades. Fred works absolute magic when it comes to these little pin-ons!

Love Turns Winter to Spring

In love, that is what we are. Drop-dead, head over heals, pinch me, in LOVE with this dreamy photo shoot we cooked up. We were inspired by a beautiful vintage lace found at Santa Fe Fabrics with which Jessie used to make beautiful votive candle holders. We're practically reduced to speaking in Ga's and Goo's about this romantically soft and glorious color palette.

It's wintery and wonderful! The centerpieces are splashed with the silver and pewter of Brunia Berries and Leucadendron pods, ivory Hydrangeas and cream Polo roses and just a touch of purple Privet Berry. It is warmed up with the most beautiful dusty pink rose called Quicksilver, ooooeee!

Call us crazy, but lil' ol' Babies Breath has been tugging on our heart strings saying, "Don't forget about me!" We adore it en masse in these beautiful sterling julep cups.

We just love this look for a winter holiday party or even a dreamy wedding!

Oh, what fun it is to play with flowers all day!

Real Wedding: Kate & Kris

Flashback to summer....a wonderful wedding shot by the talented Eric Cousineau that took place at the La Terazza ballroom in the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe.

The centerpieces of succulents, fushia Dendrobium Orchids, Leucadendron, Horsetail, China Berry and Eyringium popped on the teal linens and were complimented by the fushia napkins.

We also provided Poppy Pods, Dendrobium Orchids, China Berry, Dahlias and Succulents to adorn the beautiful tin and copper lanterns provided by La Terraza.

The bride chose lovely print material that corresponded perfectly to the decor.

A Fall Feast for the Eyes

Here are a few shots from a wedding that took place at the La Terraza ballroom at the La Fonda Hotel on a brisk October day.

The table set-up fetured two long "Kings Tables" which created a beautiful and dramatic display.

The tables featured autumnal arrangements of antique Hydrangea, our favorite Cherry Brandy Roses, James Storey Orchids, Sea Holly Eryngium, Crabapple, golden wheat, rosemary, gourds, pumpkins, artichokes and of course pomegranates.

Here are a few shots from a photo shoot we did for the Encantado Resort's wedding brochure.

We had the professional skills of Kathy from InSight Foto and Melissa kept the lighting under control, sort-of.

We had a blast going through Fred's antique collection of Spanish crosses as well as silk and embellished textiles.

We are all self-proclaimed cat people around here...but it's dogs like these that make our hearts melt!

This little puff-ball happened to be the star of the show in his role as "ring bearer."

Here's a little peek of this weekend's wedding. There was a brisk Autumn chill in the air and the harvest elements were running strong! Not only did we get to use beautiful flowers but we even got down with gold wheat, pumpkins, gourds, crab apple, artichokes and of course....pomegranates.

Melissa whipped this little beauty up the other day. It showcases burgundy Dahlias, chocolate Cymbidium Orchids (Swoon!) Pinsuchion Protea, Cherry Brandy roses (our fave!) and Coffee berry!

It was so pretty I needed to make a movie! I swear, if we could send it down a runway to flaunt it's stuff, we would!

So beautiful, it hurts.

This arrangement makes my heart ache. The roses give be butterflies and the dusty purple hues of the ti leaves and eucalyptus are enough to make a girl get all googlie. I'm also a sucker for succulents...with anything.

Melissa and I nearly peed our pants when these amazing Kale came in yesterday. I like to tell Shea that is where babies come from....I think he believes me.

These roses, paired with the "Sea Holly" variety of eyrigium, aka thistle...make me go "ooof!"
